#326 IV of Wands – Munchkin Country

Out of the darkness they pranced, holding hands and humming a song I couldn’t quite understand.

“What are they supposed to be?” She asked. All I could do was shrug and watch them dance around us.

“We are Wen and Fen. Who are you?” They said, though I can’t confirm I saw their mouths move. I wasn’t sure they had mouths. And though their limbs numbered four, I couldn’t say they were human or animal.

“Listen, we mean you no harm. We’re just looking for—”

They giggled loudly then said in unison, “The more you look, the less you’ll find.”
