#324 II of Wands – Enchanted Forest

“Are you sure about this?” We stared at the fork in the road, an unfinished map between us. Torn just before the X that marks the spot. 

We could go left, where the path seemed clean and clear. Trees tall and thriving, letting through the light of a setting sun. Or we could go right, where the path wasn’t so clean or clear. I turned on a flashlight just to see what was up ahead. Fallen limbs and vines left us wondering what creatures we might encounter.

“Do we want safety,” I asked, pointing left, “or mysterious adventure,” pointing right.
