I never wanted to follow Wen and Fen. There was something about them that I didn’t trust. But they said they could help us find what we were looking for. We had to believe them.

So, they took us to meet their mother, a woman who had all the answers we needed.

“Do you play?” She pointed to a tree that had a dead rat nailed to it. Then she picked up an axe and sent it sailing through the air, eventually cutting the rat in half. “If you can do better I’ll tell you what you want to know.”
