Suddenly, the train car was thrust into darkness and our new lizard friend was kicking butt. Turns out lizards move faster and fight better than I thought.

“Follow me,” the lizard whispered in my ear. I grabbed her hand and together we ran to the next car.

“Do you know where we’re headed?” 

“Sorry kids, this is where I get off. Thanks for saving my life. They would’ve sold me for sure if you hadn’t set me free. Take my advice, whatever you do, don’t trust the chicken.” Before I could ask what he meant, he leapt from the train.
