âHotel Parhelia? The stories I could tell you about that place.â He stamped out his cigarette after only taking two puffs. His beard was rough and ready, hair disheveled, and clothes unkempt. I pulled out my tape recorder but he put his hand up to stop me. âI wonât say another word if you plan on using that.â I put it away.
He pulled out another cigarette and lit it. âThey deal in the utmost discretion.â Eye roll. â Just ask for the âdeluxeâ package. Believe me, youâll live to regret it. That place⌠couples go in⌠they come out differentâŚâ
